ASKA Signs With PURE STEEL RECORDS

ASKA, the band featuring OMEN vocalist George Call, has inked a deal with Pure Steel Records. The group's "Avenger" and "Absolute Power" albums will be released through the label as exclusive gatefold LPs (180gr) — 100 colored, 425 black — on September 11. According to a press release, both LPs are "absolute must-haves for any U.S. metal traditionalists and it would be a shame not to press them on vinyl."

ASKA will enter the studio soon to record the follow-up to "Absolute Power" for a late 2010/early 2011 release.
